The quality of silage has an impact on the zootechnical results of a dairy farm. Good storage is therefore of utmost importance.
Our very robust silo grids effectively protect the plastic film covering the silage from small birds, poultry, dogs, cats, etc.
Moreover, its high mechanical resistance allows the passage of a man and supports the reach of a bovine hoof, without deteriorating the plastic film and the silage.
A correctly handled and stored screen can be reused for more than ten years. In order to preserve the conservation of the silage, it is important not to use earth, sand or tyres to fix the plastic film (risk of stagnant water and foreign bodies). Our grids, placed directly on the plastic film and anchored with special silo bags, optimise this conservation.

Finished with welded and stitched reinforcement around the perimeter with silo bag lashing strips on the surface. UV-stabilised, rot-proof and frost-proof silo grid.
