Heating tape 50 m + 10 elec. labels
They operate in the following way:
two conducting wires are surrounded by an insulating plastic material containing conductive graphite particles. When the plastic insulation comes into contact with heat or cold, it dilates or contracts, increasing or decreasing contact between the particles thus causing the tape to heat.
They are intended to be powered directly via 220 V mains through the DOMOCLICK® supply connection kit. They can be cut for each drinker downpipe and connected via a DOMOCLICK® T connector.
Each wire end is protected by its specifically supplied system.
Linked to a thermostat, these installations are extremely economical.
Heating tape protects against freezing and avoids the deterioration of metal water supply pipes. It is made with two conducting wires surrounded by an insulating material containing conductive graphite. When the plastic insulation comes into contact with cold, it contracts, increasing contact between the particles thus causing the tape to heat. When temperatures rise, the plastic dilates causing the opposite phenomenon to occur.
Self-regulating heating tape must be directly connected to a 220 V mains supply through the special Domoclick® supply unit and mechanically protected when within reach of animals. It can be cut for each drinker downpipe and connected via a Domoclick® T connector. The power supply is delivered with a special end plug to place at the end of the tape and warning labels to stick along the length of the tape. It is maintained in contact with the pipe with appropriate aluminium tape, available as an option.
Linked to a thermostat, this installation is very economical, consuming only 20 W/metre/hour.
Delivered with warning labels (follow the instructions supplied with the tape).
